The purpose of these visits is to have a sense of what the schools are like and how well you can envision yourself fitting into the campus. Many students have a lot of colleges on their list, but having too many schools to apply to is both a financial and mental stress in your senior year. So college visit is a great way to trim down your list and prioritize some top picks.
To register for a college visit, go to the “visit” page on the college website. There, you can schedule a prospective student college tour + information session. It’s important to register with your legal name and contacts because some colleges will take records of your visit as a demonstration of interest. Also, if you are prepared, you can schedule an on-campus interview when you visit because there are usually more available spots than in alumni interviews.
