FAQ: Directed Research and Free Block
What is Directed Research?
For Directed Research, students should stay in the room specified on their schedules with an assigned teacher. Under the monitor of the advisor, students would do school related works. Students are allowed to sign out to go to writing labs, math labs and library. Specific rules will usually be handed out during the first class.
What is free block?
Juniors and seniors have free blocks instead of directed research. As long as they stay in the school building, students can stay at any places. If you get a pass, you can get out of school building for lunch. Exceptions and other rules will be announced or given from the House master.
